The Marsh Instrumentation Field Service capabilities grew out of the need expressed by many customers of the Marsh mechanical and machining services for extended service in the instrumentation fields. In 1986 the various instrumentation functions within Marsh were merged into a stand-alone instrumentation service company.

The Marsh Resident Techs and Road Warriors come equipped with a full range of NIST/NRC traceable calibration standards and equipment, which is included in the hourly rate. Work is performed to ISO 9001 and ISO 10012 procedures. Marsh also have experience in writing QA procedures to meet your company standards. Please contact our QA manager for details.

Many of our customers operate around the clock and around the calendar so 24/7 is not a new, fad of the month with Marsh. Our Road Warriors have been available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week since the beginning of the company in 1986. Due to the nature and relatively short duration of the work, Marsh Road Warriors are used to perform shut-downs, construction calibrations, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start-up of instrumentation systems as well as on-site construction technical support.

The Marsh Resident Techs are highly skilled technical and project personnel assigned to jobs with a customer that last from short project to many years. Marsh has maintained long term contracts in excess of 12 years with many customers. The Marsh Resident Techs can form all or part of the department they work in and often have the highest departmental seniority. Unlike typical manpower placement agencies, the Marsh Resident Techs are permanent employees with long-term job assignments.
